Anyone over 25 with a valid drivers license can rent. If born after 1989, per the State of Wisconsin, you are required to take an online boaters safety course or you can hire a skipper to drive while you relax.
Retro Boats are the perfect boat to cruise the Milwaukee River for smaller groups. Boats can fit 2-4 people, use a quiet and eco-friendly electric motor, and are as easy to drive as a golf cart.
Retro boats are modeled after the 1950’s “jet era” classic boats. The original motor casings have been kept intact and have been replaced with a modern, eco-friendly (and quiet) electric motor. Our staff provides a quick training on how to drive these beauties. They are easy to operate with a simple forward and reverse throttle.
